About Me

Born in 2015, Julian “Julz” Posselt is a passionate young football talent from Australia whose dedication and skill have rapidly propelled him into the spotlight. Since starting competitive football in 2024, Julz has demonstrated exceptional commitment, discipline, and a strong desire to grow every day. His journey began with the Sorrento F.C. Blue Team, where he quickly became a vital player, laying a solid foundation for his promising career.

Over the 2024–2025 summer, he was selected to join the GDC – Glory Development Centre, a prestigious development program offering intensive training three days a week. This opportunity allowed Julz to train alongside top young talent and receive elite coaching focused on technical and tactical excellence.

My Football Journey

A major milestone in Julz’s journey came when he was personally invited by Daniel, the director of the DMFA Academy, to join their elite program. This invitation reflects Julz’s standout potential and commitment to the sport. At DMFA, Julz trains in a high-performance environment designed to prepare young athletes for top-tier competition. Through this academy, he will have the opportunity to represent DMFA in interstate and international tournaments, gaining exposure, experience, and the chance to compete at the highest levels of youth football.

Each step of Julz’s journey shows his strong work ethic and clear goal to become a professional footballer. It is a story of fast growth, resilience, and dedication both on and off the field.

  • Age 5: Started playing with friends in the backyard
  • Represented school and community teams, showcasing leadership and skill
  • March 2025 – Competed with Western Knights at the Bali 7s International Tournament
  • 2025 – Personally invited to join the elite DMFA Academy program
  • Age 10: Selected for Western Knights, joined the Bali 7s Tournament
  • Earned awards such as Golden Boot and Champion Boy in school competitions
  • Gained exposure to high-level competition through interstate and international tournaments
